The composer of two of our most popular and tuneful beginning four-mallet compositions (Restless and Tune for Mary O.’) has “scored again” with a real winner of a marimba trio. Each individual part is of moderate difficulty but the parts fit together without too much difficulty into a much more complex and interesting completed puzzle – just as the title suggests. Written several years ago, the only real puzzle is why Rich didn’t send it in for publication earlier!
