A unique ensemble for four percussion and piano. The piano part can be played by a percussionist. Instrumentation: 2 large, 2 medium, and two small suspended cymbals, medium and high bongo, 2 tambourines (1 suspended), glockenspiel, high tom-tom, 3 medium tom-toms, military drum, snare drum, 2 low and 2 high woodblocks, crotales, bell plate, vibraphone, bass drum, opera gong, thundersheet, maracas, low and high cowbells, tubular bells.
