*Boing is anything that makes the same sound as it’s name. Instrument should be loud enough to carry.
*Box of Junk can be as simple as a cardboard box or suitcase filled with various metallic objects to simulate the sound of something being broken. Performer should shake the box in the air for a while and then throw it across the stage.
**Marimba is to be shared by players 3 and 4 if the instrument is a five-octave marimba. If only one five-octave instrument is available, player 4 can come up to the soloist’s marimba and play his or her parts on that instrument.
***Harmonica should be a Hohner Blues Harp MS in the key of C.
