Meet David Mancini

Dave Mancini has most recently toured and performed as the drummer for the legendary trumpet player and former Tonight Show Bandleader, Doc Severinsen.

In the words of the composer, “Latin Journey” was written for and dedicated to Wes Griffin for his senior recital at Texas Wesleyan University in Ft. Worth. When I offered to write a piece for Wes for his senior recital, he asked me if I would write a multiple percussion solo for him.”
