Marimba Productions Inc. is proud to partner with Bill Cahn and NEXUS Records. All of Bill’s compositions, arrangements, and many NEXUS recordings for solo percussion, chamber ensemble, and band and orchestra will now be exclusively distributed by Marimba Productions Inc.
William Cahn was the principal percussionist of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra from 1968 to 1995. He was inducted into the PAS Hall of Fame in 1999 as a member of the internationally acclaimed percussion group, NEXUS, performing in concerts and on radio and television broadcasts all over the world. His original compositions and his orchestral arrangements of popular music from the 1920s featuring solo xylophone have been performed by virtually every major North American orchestra. Bill has received numerous awards for his musical contributions, among which are the Sabian Lifetime Achievement Award (2005), the Arts and Cultural Council of Greater Rochester Lifetime Achievement Award (2015), and a GRAMMY AWARD with the Paul Winter Consort (2006).
