Paul Bissell

Dr. Paul Bissell has been assistant professor of Percussion and Music Technology at Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, TX for the past nine years. Before coming to Del Mar, he served in a similar role for five years at Louisiana Tech University from 1992-1997. He is the owner of Go Fish Music, a publication and production company and during his career has been a member or performed with many symphonies and artists including: The Florida Orchestra, The Shreveport Symphony, The Austin Symphony, ISIS New Music Ensemble, The Joeffrey Ballet, and Luciano Pavarotti among others. He has been heard on recordings as diverse as Karl Korte's Extentions , Eric Johnson's Grammy Nominated Ah Via Musicom and the sound track to Spy Kids II. In 2000, he earned his DMA in Music Composition at the University of Texas at Austin and has had his original compositions performed by many artists and ensembles in the United States and Europe. His works are published by Theodore Presser, Marimba Publications (Malletech), and Go Fish Music.
