Dark Wing

$20.00

From the same composer that brought “Quartz City” to the repertoire, this seven-minute duet for low-E marimba and cello is a blend of jazz and Persian influences. Geared for an advanced undergraduate student, “Dark Wing” provides an opportunity for collaboration that is not often encountered.- T. Adam Blackstock, Percussive Notes

Fifteen Etudes for Vibraphone is a sample of most of the things that vibraphone players encounter. These 15 etudes are not just for technical studies, but have all been composed as complete pieces that can be played on recitals.

Quartz City

$30.00

Quartz City is another winner – literally. Johnson’s piece won first prize in the 1995 P.A.S.Composition Contest. The vibraphone solo is very challenging; the ensemble parts somewhat less so.

The Oregon Variations

$69.00

“This is a composition for solo marimba (5.0 octave) accompanied by two mallet-keyboard parts and two percussion parts. This piece will be rewarding for the intermediate to advanced percussion ensemble. It is very organic in sound and has wonderful amalgamations of percussion colors.”- Percussive Notes
